Office Desk In Paradise: Creative Writing And Blogging Contest
For you writers and bloggers out there, you might be interested in participating in the Office Desk in Paradise; Creative Writing / Blogging Contest at Office1000.com where the prize is a reversible laminate top computer desk by Safco Products with a retail value of $282.00.
All you need to do is create a scenario on where you picture yourself working. If you could dream big and you have all the time and resources in the world, then what kind of place do you imagine your self working in? Some people imagine working on the beach with a cool glass of PiƱa Colada beside them. Others like to dream of working in Googleplex where employees are treated to excellent cuisine for lunch and to the best and most comfortable furniture to work in.
Be creative! Think outside of the box! The most unique and compelling story wins the prize.
Your post should have a minimum of 300 words. The Office1000 staff will evaluate your work based on how creative and amazing your story is. They will also look into the readability of your blog, like the size and type of font you used. Of course, this is the web and the contest sponsor is a website, it is natural that they will require at least some SEO done on your blog, such as no nofollow links and no excessive widgets or javascript.
You must include a link back at the contest announcement page using this URL: http://www.office1000.com/contest/march-2010.html. Once you are done, submit the URL of your post to the form on the site’s contest announcement page. The contest deadline is on March 31, 2010, and the participants are limited to US residents only because the company ships within the states only, and not outside of the United States.
The winner will be announced on the first week of April and will be contacted by email for shipping instructions for their prize. If the winner has already purchased a Safco 1930 desk, the company will refund the cost of the desk, or ship another type of desk. As usual, employees of Office1000, Inc. and their families are excluded from the contest.
