One-Way Linking Benefits

Today webmasters and bloggers are using another more effective way of increasing their website’s PR: one-way link building.
The power of one-way linking is found in its lack of equivalence. Unlike link exchanges, one-way links earn some PR value only in one direction. The site that links to another does not gain any PR value – at first glance. However, to be fair to all parties involved, many webmasters and bloggers invented three-way linking to set each site in the triad a one-way backlink.
But then, the best one-way link is not found in three-way link exchanges, but in linking practices that show genuine appreciation of the value of one’s site content. Websites that link back to other sites that have valuable articles, images, videos and podcasts do not often expect a returned favor.
If you do find your self participating in a three-way link exchange make sure the other websites are topically related to your own. And also check the quality of the content of the site. There are paid link building services that offer assistance in this area. However, if you are on a tight budget, you can also avail of free one-way links by doing the process your self. This way you can control which sites link back to you and to which site you are linked to.
