Trade Conferences at Miami Beach

There’s a couple of conferences that were held at Miami Beach, Florida, that would have been interesting to see. One was the Social Networking Conference, which was “one of the largest business events for the social networking industry,” as publicized on their event page at TradeChakra.com.

That event brought together primary players in the social networking industry, including venture capitalists, advertising experts, social networking professionals, software and mobile technology companies, and the media and publishers, which would include bloggers as well.

The conference was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center on January 28 to 29 this year. It is the same venue for another Internet-related event called the Internet Dating Conference, which aims to introduce opportunities for new technologies and improve business for the online dating industry.

For those who use DotCMS as their website’s publishing platform, there is a dotCMS Boot Camp coming up on April 13 to 15, 2010. It is an annual training/seminar for dotCMS clients, who get to check out early the soon-to-be released v1.9 of dotCMS.
